Members of the LEED team including Mildred Cho, Stephanie Malia Fullerton, Evelynn Hammonnds, Sandra Soo-Jin Lee, Aaron. Panofsky and Jenny Reardon published an open letter in Nature, “Pangenomics: Prioritize Diversity in Collaborations” calling for the Human Pangenome Research Consortium (HPRC) to invest in interdisciplinary teams committed to equitable and diverse collaboration with communities and nations to address longstanding stubborn ethical questions around genome selection and analysis.
